Drought Levels Remain Low in Lakes Region

The Lakes Region has received just enough rainfall to keep much of the Ozarks drought free.

The latest map from the U.S. Drought Monitor still shows no drought levels in the Missouri Ozarks while parts of northern Arkansas remain Abnormally Dry, including areas around Harrison and the Buffalo National River.

The area will see a chance of rain on Friday with hot and dry conditions returning to the Lakes Region over the weekend.
