A duck boat was stranded on the water for a time during a tour on Tuesday.
According to a post on the Branson Duck Tours Facebook Page, a water pump failed during the lake portion of one of their tours. The disabled boat anchored in position until another boat arrived to tow it to shore. Once to the ramp, the boat came up onto shore under its own power and the passengers on the disabled boat transferred to the second boat and returned to the Duck Boat Store.
No injuries were reported according to the post which added that emergency personnel from Branson and the Missouri State Highway Patrol were on standby if needed.
