Southern Stone County Firefighters gets an early start to the week working a structure fire early this morning.
According to information released on the district's Facebook page, around Midnight, units were called to Reeds Spring for a report of a house fire. Arriving units found the structure fully engulfed, leading to an aggressive attack by firefighters. The report indicates that the fire was believed to have started around the porch.
No one was injured as a neighbor alerted the residents to the fire and they escaped prior to the arrival of the firefighters. The cause of the fire is under investigation.
