The Wildfire along the Glade Top Trail in Douglas County is now 60% contained according to the U.S. Forest Service.
According to an update posted on their Facebook Page, forest officials indicate that more resources are on the way to complete the containment of the fire that started on Monday.
According to the Douglas County Sheriff’s Office, they had evacuated some residents near the fire but most of those have been allowed to return home.
White River Electric Officials post on their Facebook page that they have cut power to some homes in the area as a safety precaution until the fire is more contained.
Around 1500 acres are on fire according to the forest service.
