UDATE 11/5 3:20: According to information from MODOT, Highway 76 between the roundabout and Lakeshore Drive is closed for shoulder work due to storm damage.
While the Traveler Information Map list the close is between today and Wednesday, information on MODOT's Facebook Page indicates the road is closed until further notice. The area that was damaged due to Monday's storms is near an area that was impacted by heavy rain earlier this year.
The City of Hollister follows up with information about the closure of North Knox Ave while the work is being done.

The Hollister Police Department and Taney County Sheriff's office report that a section of Highway 76 is currently closed.
The information posted on both of the department's Facebook pages indicates that 76 between the Roundabout and Knox Ave will be closed for some maintenance. The City of Hollister also reports that the north portion of Knox will also be closed.
The posts indicates the closure is by MODOT for some maintenance work. The area is the same that was impacted earlier this year when heavy rains damaged part of the road where it overlooks Lake Taneycomo.
