After many areas saw temperatures soar past 100 on Tuesday, a much more pleasant day is ahead in the Lakes Region.
A front moving through on Tuesday has shifted the winds to the north allowing cooler air to filter into the area. Highs will be in the 80s and lows in the 60s over the next couple of days. There is also a chance of rain Friday night into Saturday.
The return of heat will begin over the weekend with highs expected back to around the 100-degree mark by Sunday.
