Missouri State Treasurer Scott Fitzpatrick helps in an unexpected way during the Thursday Ribbon Cutting Ceremony dedicated the new 1-49 segment between Arkansas and Missouri.
Fitzpatrick, who decided to use the trip to visit his home area of Cassville and Shell Knob, tells KRZK's Ozarks Now Program how he provided an important tool for the ceremony.
During his Ozarks Now visit, Fitzpatrick also discusses his joining other State Treasures in an action against a Federal Government proposal to use the IRS to access personal banking information as well as his feelings on the progress Missouri has made in recovering economically from the COVID-19 Pandemic.
