The Missouri Department of Transportation announces that both lanes of Highway 76 in Hollister are open.
The westbound lane near the roundabout had closed on Wednesday after the heavy rain that swept the area had washed away part of the roadway and the guard rail along Lake Taneycomo. MODOT crews had been working to the fill in the area to get the road reopened.
Ozarks First reports that the fix is temporary and that a more permanent repair will come later.
