The names of the victims of the incident on the James River near the Lake Springfield Dam Sunday have been identified.
According to a release from the Springfield Police Department, four members of the Stawny Family were in a kayak with two tubes attached when they lost control near the Dam and went under. 12-year-old Aurelie Stawny survived and was rescued and now has been released from the hospital while the bodies of 19-year-old Andrea and 17-year-old Sofie Stawny have been recovered from the water.
The search for 40-year-old Taylor Stawny is continuing as is the investigation into this incident.
