An annual event helping a school kick-off the new year is celebrating its 10th year.
The Annual "Night of the Tiger" Kick-off event for the Hollister School District is slated for Thursday August 15 at the School Complex. Hollister School Superintendent Dr. Brian Wilson, during a recent interview on KRZK's "Ozarks Now" program, said he wanted to hold an event for students and families to come in and enjoy a fun time while learning about the upcoming year. Communications Director Kim Connell added during the interview that it has expanded to include nearly 100 businesses that contribute services and supplies for the year.
The event begins with an Open House at 5:00 to 7:00 pm with the Family Fair to begin at 5:30.The evening wrapping up with a Fireworks Show around 8:15.
