The Stone County Sheriff's Department utilizes their Jet Boat for a water rescue on the James River.
According to a post on the department's Facebook page, Sgt. Clint Caperton and Sgt. Caleb Leimkuehler were dispatched to a call of four people stranded on the upper James River with one missing Monday evening. The four people were trapped in an area near Shelvin Rock in Christian County. All four were located by the officers with help on scene from the Missouri Highway Patrol Marine Division, Christian County Ambulance District, Clever Fire, Billings Fire and Battlefield Fire Water Rescue.
Two males and two females were rescued with no injuries reported.
