The last day of 2025 saw the Missouri State Highway Patrol work a pair of crashes in the Lakes Region.
The first occurred early Wednesday morning west of Forsyth on Highway 160 when a vehicle driven by a 26-year-old woman from Ozark went off the right side of the road, struck a tree, and overturned. The woman was taken to Cox South Hospital in Springfield with minor injuries.
The other crash occurred on Highway 248 north of Branson just after 4:00 pm when a cargo van driven by a 26-year-old Springfield man pulled into the path of a SUV driven by 47-year-old woman from Galena. The woman sustained minor injuries that were treated at Cox Medical Center in Branson.
