A traffic shift will impact Nixa starting on the week of Oct. 30 for a maximum of 10 months, according to a post on the Nixa, Missouri government's Facebook Page.

MoDOT TRAFFIC ALERT:
Traffic Shift at Christian County Route AA and U.S. Route 160 In Nixa
Where: Traffic Shifts at Christian County Route AA/Outer Road 160 and U.S. Route 160 and in Nixa
When: Beginning the week of October 30, for up to 10 months
What: Crews are working on Route 160 bridge and Route 160/Route AA intersection and as part of the Route 160 Intersection Improvements Project. Traffic patterns at Route AA will change after this phase is complete.
Traffic Impacts:
- Right-in/Right-out at Route AA to southbound Route 160 in Nixa
- Right-in/Right-out at Outer Road 160 to northbound Route 160
- Route 160 median Closed at Route AA/Outer Road 160
- Route 160 OPEN
- No signed detours, drivers are urged to find alternate routes
- Signs and message boards will alert drivers to work zone
