The Missouri State Highway Patrol works a pair of accidents involving tubing on Table Rock Lake.
A 15-year-old juvenile male from Carthage suffered serious injuries on Saturday when his tube hit a small wave near Kings River Marina in Barry County that caused the injuries. The patient was taken to Mercy Hospital in Springfield for treatment of his injuries.
Meanwhile, an accident near Point 2 in Taney County injured four people from the eastern Missouri community of Barnheart Thursday afternoon. A tube containing the four people became unattached from the boat that was pulling it, ejecting all four from the tube onto the shore. One of the patients, a 12-year-old juvenile female, sustained moderate injuries that were treated at Cox Medical Center Branson while the other patients were treated at the scene.
