Dale William Hinkle, age 84, passed away on March 14, 2026.
Dale William Hinkle, age 84, of Forsyth, Missouri, passed away March 14, 2026. He entered this life on December 27,1941, the son of Kenneth and Ellen (Johnston) Hinkle in Garnett, Kansas. Dale was joined in marriage to Carolyn Nadine Young on November 14, 1970.
Dale proudly served our country in the United States Air Force while serving he was stationed at Hahn Air Base in Germany. After his service, Dale embraced life with a spirit of adventure and deep appreciation for the outdoors. He found great joy in being surrounded by nature and spent many years traveling throughout the United States, discovering countless destinations along the way. Dale was also an avid card player who enjoyed many hours of games with family and friends, always welcoming friendly competition.
Dale is survived by his wife of fifty-five years, Carolyn Hinkle of Forsyth, Missouri; daughters: Deborah Hinkle of Draper, Utah, and Danyelle Franks of Woodridge, Illinois; grandchildren: Alexa Parks and husband, Brandon of Glen Ellyn, Illinois, and Tyler Franks of Woodridge, Illinois.
He is preceded in death by his parents; son, Damien Hinkle; and brothers: Dean and Duane Hinkle.
There will be a memorial service held 10:00 a.m. Saturday March 21, 2026, at Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints, 224 Church Street, Branson. Missouri, with Bishop Wright officiating. Arrangements and cremation are under the direction of Cremations of the Ozarks.
