4 Ozark Seniors Resource Fairs Coming in March

An organization dedicated to providing advocacy and information to area seniors are holding resource fairs in March.

Deb Rambo of 4 Ozark Seniors previewed the fairs during an interview on KRZK's "Ozarks Now" program. Rambo says the event, taking place for the third year, is designed to give seniors in Stone and Taney Counties information on available services has well as offer exams and screenings from many area health organizations. Rambo says most services are geared to people age 62 and older though anyone can attend the free event to get more information on available services. 

The first event will take place March 5 at the Our Lady of the Cove Catholic Church in Kimberling City followed by the next fair a week later on March 12 at the Our Lady of the Lake Catholic Church in Branson. Both fairs will go from 10 am to 4 pm.

Rambo says her group is currently expanding their services, including planning for an additional fair next year to serve eastern Taney County as well as expanding services to surrounding counties including Barry County in Missouri and Boone County in Arkansas. Rambo says they eventually plan to expand further in Arkansas to include Newton County.
