"A Night in the Arts" Fundraiser Brings Three Foundations, 14 School Districts Together

An event this spring has a goal of benefiting multiple school districts and educating the public on the talents of students in those districts.

According to the release from the Reeds Spring Wolf Pack Foundation, their group along with the foundations from Branson and Hollister Schools will present "A Night in the Arts" on April 19 at the Yakov Smirnoff Theater. The event will feature the work of students across 14 area school districts with proceeds to benefit those districts.

During a recent interview on KRZK's "Ozarks Now" program, Wolfpack Foundation Chairman Becky Sellers said the idea for the fundraiser came from a conversation with several members of the Silver Dollar City Foundation who suggested that a big event benefitting multiple school districts would open the door to donations from businesses that have employees that have children in several area schools.

Sellers adds that every district will be represented through student-created visual art, music, written works, and culinary creations.

The three school foundations in collaboration with the Silver Dollar City Foundation are presenting the event that will benefit the school districts of Blue Eye, Bradleyville, Branson, Crane, Forsyth, Galena, Hollister, Hurley, Kirbyville, Mark Twain, Reeds Spring, Shell Knob, Spokane, and Taneyville.

General admission and VIP Tickets are available now for the show the the event's website.
