Another wave of heat is forecast for the Lakes Region over the next several days.

The National Weather Service has added Carroll County in Arkansas to the Heat Advisory for today.
The National Weather Service continues the Heat Advisory for the central and western part of the Missouri Lakes Region that started at Noon Friday going through Monday and has now added Ozark County and the rest of southern Missouri to the advisory.. The Branson Area is included in the advisory including Table Rock Lake, Lake Taneycomo, and the western sections of Bull Shoals Lake.
The forecast highs in much of the Lakes Region are expected to approach 100 with Heat Index Readings up to 106 while slightly cooler temperatures are expected in the higher elevations of northern Arkansas though head index readings will also approach 100.
Little to any rain is in the forecast through the middle of next week.
