One area chamber leader says outdoor attractions and opportunities are a big part of the growing interest in the Lakes Region for visitors.
Sheila Thomas, President/CEO of the Table Rock Lake Chamber of Commerce, says during an interview this week on KRZK's "Ozarks Now" that there was a huge demand for boat rentals with a high amount of reservations for area resorts, especially those with cabin lodging, and campgrounds as well.
Thomas says many businesses in the Table Rock Lake area did not suffer some of the labor shortages of businesses in other areas thanks to available seasonal employees, but an increase in the long-term labor pool is something that all area businesses need to continue being successful.
