A man from Arkansas sustains serious injuries as a result of a boat grounding incident on Table Rock Lake.
According to a post on the Southern Stone County Fire Protection District Facebook Page, Emergency Personnel were dispatched to Breadtray Mountain Road around 6:30 am Saturday morning after report of a boat crashing into a nearby shoreline.
The Missouri State Highway Patrol report indicates a passenger on the boat, 75-year-old Elmer Virick of Gravette sustained serious injuries and was transported by boat to a waiting Life Line Unit that then transported Virick to Cox South Hospital in Springfield for treatment of his injuries. The driver of the boat was not injured according to the report.
