Body Found in Oak Grove Investigated as Homicide

A possible homicide victim is found in the middle of a road in northern Carroll County this week.

According to a release from Carroll County Sheriff Daniel Klatt, officers as well as medical personnel were dispatched to an area in Oak Grove where the body of 19-year-old Alexzander Bernhardt was located. Bernhardt was pronounced dead at the scene. 

Klatt adds that the case is being jointly investigated by his department and the Arkansas State Police as a homicide. The body is being sent to the Arkansas State Crime Lab to determine the cause of death. 

Anyone with any information on this incident is asked to contact Carroll County Sheriff’s Office at 870-423-7373.
