The Adoration Celebration through downtown Branson will marks its 75th Anniversary this weekend.
The event begins at 5:30 Sunday with the lighting of the Adoration Scene on top of Mount Branson followed by the beginning of the parade. The parade will use Sycamore Street and Long Street to reach Branson Landing Blvd where it will go north until it reaches Commercial Street, where it will turn south before connecting with College and Sycamore Streets to return to the Convention Center Parking Lot.
The Adoration Parade was born out of the development of the Adoration Scene which was first built and lit on Mount Branson in 1949 with the parade added in 1953 with the theme "Keeping Christ in Christmas."
Coverage of the Adoration Parade will be carried live on MY 100.1 with video also available on the station's Facebook Page.
