Branson's marketing effort with the Kansas City Chiefs will move into the future following its success.

Ashlie Beede, interim CMO and director of marketing at the Chamber of Commerce/CVB delivered a presentation detailing that during the Tuesday night Branson board of aldermen meeting. She said a new "digital media toolkit" is under construction.

It will allow those involved in the marketing effort to access things like images, logos, writing and more. The marketing director highlighted the success of the 2023 tailgates and expressed anticipation of tailgates for the coming season.

Beede provided a review of the 2023 marketing involving the football team. Screenshots of the three best performing Kansas City Chiefs geared posts by the Explore Branson Facebook Page show over 500,000 "impressions" from the posts combined. Facebook.com states, "Impressions are the number of times any content from your Page or about your Page entered a person's screen."

She added that the best performing post in terms of reactions and comments was promoting a giveaway. That post got over 8,000 comments. The posts were "organic," meaning they were not promoted using paid options from Facebook.

Beede also discussed the "special edition" digital newsletter. That's a first-time marketing item that was emailed to the organization's 96,000 subscribers.

50.12% of users opened it, and the yielded over 2,340 page views. It got 1,239 sessions, and the average duration of sessions was three minutes and 10 seconds. Beede said that exceeded the time on the website that their other traffic yields.

Earlier, Branson Communications Director Lisa Rau commented on the chamber's excitement for the presentation. "We are believing that there's a lot of positive momentum happening," she said. She added that she thinks the aldermen will believe that their feedback is heard.

Rau also mentioned "new leadership and new energy" and placed Beede in the spotlight, stating that she has "a big, bright future." More was discussed during the presentation.
