The Branson Lakes Area Chamber of Commerce & CVB, in partnership with the City of Branson, proudly announces Branson has been designated as the official vacation destination for Ft. Leavenworth, Kansas. This designation strengthens Branson’s reputation as the “most patriotic city in America,” reaffirming its dedication to honoring and celebrating the nation’s military and Veterans.

This historic partnership between Branson and Ft. Leavenworth provides military personnel, Veterans, and their families with exclusive travel opportunities to experience Branson’s world-class entertainment, outdoor recreation, and heartfelt patriotism. As a community known for its unwavering support of the military, Branson offers a welcoming environment where service members can relax, reconnect, and be celebrated for their sacrifices.

Branson Chamber CEO, Pam Yancey, expressed her enthusiasm for the partnership: “Branson has always been a city that honors those who serve our country. This official designation strengthens our bond with Ft. Leavenworth and enhances our ability to welcome military families with open arms. Leavenworth is a gorgeous garrison with rich history. We are excited to show them what Branson is all about.”

Colonel Duane Mossier, Garrison Commander, added: “Our primary goal is morale and welfare of our soldiers and their families. Branson is a great location for our people to go and enjoy much needed time off between deployments and schooling.”

The partnership will feature a series of initiatives aimed at enhancing the experience of military visitors, including specialized travel packages, annual military appreciation events, and increased engagement with Veteran-focused organizations. The city’s tourism and hospitality sectors will work closely with Ft. Leavenworth leadership to ensure that service members receive the recognition and relaxation they deserve.

With annual events such as Branson’s Veterans Week—one of the largest Veterans celebrations in the country—Rally Point Branson, and the Labor Day weekend Blue Angels Air Show, this partnership ensures that the military community of Ft. Leavenworth has unparalleled access to Branson’s patriotic events and attractions year-round.
