A major intersection in Downtown Branson closes tonight for two weeks as part of the Streetscape Project.
According to a release from the city, the intersection of Main and Commercial Street will close at 8:00 pm to through traffic as construction crews remove and replace pavement and to give the new concrete time to cure.
While no thru traffic will be allowed through the intersection during this period, parking on Commercial Street up to the intersection and the east portion of Main Street will still be available during the two week closure.
The city will have posted detours through the area directing traffic around the work zone.
