BRANSON, MO (May 14, 2025) – The Branson Education Foundation is proud to announce it has awarded over $31,000 in grants and scholarships this school year, further advancing its mission to support Branson School District classrooms through innovative resources and experiences.
Established in 2010 as a 501(c)(3) nonprofit, the Foundation operates independently of the Branson R-IV School District. It serves as a centralized organization for managing financial donations that directly benefit the district’s students and educators.
Since its inception, the Foundation has awarded more than $250,000 through a combination of classroom grants and senior scholarships. These funds have been raised through a variety of community-focused fundraising events, including the Branson Education Foundation Community Breakfast - welcoming new teachers and connecting them with local businesses, the spirited Homecoming Tailgate Dinner, and the annual Pirate Classic Charity Golf Tournament.
“Our goal is simple - give teachers the tools they need to help students succeed,” said Branson Education Foundation Vice President, Rachel Gerken. “A well-equipped classroom creates better learning environments, which in turn produces exceptional students and future community leaders.”
Each month, the Foundation awards up to $2,000 in mini-grants to Branson educators seeking support for projects not funded through traditional school resources. Larger annual classroom grants are also available in the spring for initiatives that require more substantial funding. In addition, the Foundation provides scholarships to graduating seniors, awarded during the annual Senior Awards Night held each May.
The Foundation welcomes support in the form of financial contributions, volunteer hours, or community partnerships. For more information, to donate, or to get involved, please contact info@bransoneducationfoundation.org or visit: www.bransoneducationfoundation.org.
