A Branson man is in the Taney County Jail after an incident last week in which a person was shot.
According to the probable cause affidavit, 76-year-old Dan Cline called 9-1-1 last Friday and claimed to have shot a man who had attacked him. Upon arrival, Branson Police Officers were led to the victim’s bedroom by Cline, who told officers he had shot him after the two had argued. While interviewing the victim, who had two gunshots wounds, officers were informed that the two had been drinking. The victim had been shot in the arm and hip according to the affidavit.
Cline was questioned after the incident and refused to provide other details. He was arrested 2nd Degree Assault Charges on a Special Victim. Cline is being held without bond.
