An overflowing manhole has forced an area trail to close.

The Waterfall Trail, located at the entrance of Westgate Resort at 2201 Roark Valley Rd is closed until further notice while Utility crews clean a sanitary spill from an overflowing manhole in the area.
The spill was discovered on Sunday, May 28, 2023, by a resident who reported it using the City of Branson’s “Report Water & Sewer Issues” section of the Feedback & Questions page of its website, BransonMo.Gov. Standard operating procedures for a sanitary spill began immediately on May 28. This includes contacting the Missouri Department of Natural Resources and the Missouri Department of Conservation.
