Burn Ban Issued for Carroll County

While the dry conditions have seen many officials warn against outdoor burning, one area county has issued a burn ban.

Carroll County Officials posted the Burn Ban on Monday until further notice as dry conditions continue to increase the threat of wildfires. Carroll County joins several counties in the Bentonville, Fayetteville, Rogers, and Springdale area issuing a ban.

The Arkansas Forestry Division says moderate fire danger exists in several other areas including around Harrison in Boone County as well as Madison and Newton Counties.

The entire region remains in drought conditions with no rain in the forecast for the next seven days.
