The Community Blood Center of the Ozarks have a summertime gift for donors to blood drives in the Lakes Region next week.
According to a release from the CBCO, donors will receive a plush, adult-sized beach towel, while supplies last.
“We love being able to offer our donors fun and unique incentive items so they can show off their status as a lifesaver and these beach towels are going to be a hot item,” said CBCO Media Relations Representative Michelle Teter in the release. “It is no secret that summer is a challenging time for the area’s blood supply. Hospital usage has recently increased, and summer activities often hinder donations. We urge community members to help keep the heat off the blood supply this summer by donating with CBCO. Your blood donation can support local patients, and you never know when it might be your friend, family member, or neighbor who needs a blood transfusion.
Local blood drives coming up next week in the Lakes Region include drives in both Branson and Hollister next Wednesday, and in Harrison on Thursday.
Wednesday 7/17 Hollister Community Blood Drive at Branson Tri-Lakes News Office 11:00 am to 5:00 pm

Thursday 7/18 Bloodmobile at North Arkansas Regional Medical Center 12:00 pm to 6:00 pm
