A Community Emergency Response Team (CERT) academy will run in September, according to the Branson MO Fire-Rescue Facebook post.
Part of the post is below:
The Branson Fire Rescue is hosting a CERT academy for new volunteers who would like to join or rejoin the program. The Community Emergency Response Team (CERT) program educates volunteers about disaster preparedness for hazards and disasters that could occur in Branson.
Branson Fire Rescue is hosting a 3-day in-person training where you'll learn essential skills to help your community in times of need. Our expert firefighter instructors will cover topics like disaster preparedness, fire safety, basic first aid, and more. By the end of this training, you'll be a certified CERT member ready to help yourself and your neighbors in emergencies. Don't miss this opportunity to make a difference!
In order to become a certified CERT member, volunteers must attend all three days of training:
September 5 - 6:00 PM – 8:30 PM
September 6 - 8:00 AM – 4:00 PM
September 20 - 8:00 AM– 4:00 PM
