The Western Taney County Fire Protection District will host a retirement reception for Chief Chris Berndt, according to a Facebook post by the agency.
The community is invited to celebrate Berndt for his 36 years of service. The celebration's on Nov. 18. from 4 p.m. to 6 p.m. The Keeter Center will host the reception.
The Keeter is located at 1 Opportunity Ave., Point Lookout, Missouri 65726.
