POINT LOOKOUT, MO. — College of the Ozarks will host the fall Jazz Ensemble concert Friday, Dec. 12, in Jones Auditorium on campus. The performance will start at 7:30 p.m. and is free and open to the public.
“The College of the Ozarks Jazz Ensemble is greatly looking forward to performing a high energy concert of jazz big band music at our upcoming concert,” said Dr. Kevin Powers, associate professor of music. “We will be playing fun jazz arrangements of Christmas carols along with other selections. Especially meaningful will be a powerful arrangement of ‘O Holy Night’ that will feature high note trumpet artist Robert Offutt. We hope to see everyone at our concert!”
