The recently announced grants for school safety by Missouri Governor Mike Parson will help several area School Districts.
Crane School Superintendent Dr. Chris Johnson says during an interview Wednesday on KRZK’s “Ozarks Now” program that the money the district receives will go upgrading entrances to the school for swipe cards as well as cameras on School Busses.
The Department of Elementary and Secondary Education awarded the grants to 169 Missouri School Districts to help with security improvements. Bakersfield, Bradleyville, Gainesville, Hurley, Purdy, and Taneyville are among the other school districts to receive the grants.
The full story on the grant program is posted on a previous story.
