Diamond City Seeking Applications for Mayor, Treasurer

After a week which saw most of the city officials resign then withdraw those resignations, Diamond City is now looking to fill two of the positions still vacant.

On the city’s Facebook page, posts requesting applications for the Mayor and Treasurer positions were released on Monday. According to the post, both are parttime positions with the person appointed Mayor to fill the unexpired term of Jamie Nuessner while the Treasurer appointee will fill the unexpired term of Eva West. 

Decisions are expected for replacement of those officials at the next Diamond City Council Meeting on March 26th.
