Fire Put Out Quickly at Cosmic Caverns

Firefighters with Oak Grove Fire and Rescue along with assistance from the Berryville Fire Department handle a fire that broke out in a restroom at Cosmic Caverns located between the two communities. 

According to a post from Oak Grove Fire and Rescue, the fire was put out quickly and upon investigation, it was discovered that two young children had a lighter and had set some paper on fire. 

According to the post, Carroll County Sheriff’s Deputies were called to the scene and the two young people were reminded about fire safety and the potential consequences of playing with fire. 

No injuries were reported in the incident.
