Branson Firefighters responded to a report of a residential structure fire in the Branson North Subdivision early Tuesday morning.
A total of five Branson Fire Units responded to the scene according to a Facebook post from Branson Fire-Rescue Facebook page, with additional help from Western Taney County Fire and the Taney County Ambulance District.
Two residents were awakened by a working smoke alarm in the home. They were able to escape without injury along with a family pet.
The fire started on the rear deck of the home and spread to the attic space, where firefighters were able to knock down the fire and keep it from spreading further according to the release.
