Members of the Southern Stone County Fire Protection District's Technical Rescue team help retrieve the driver of a vehicle that had gone down an embankment in Branson West Sunday.
According to a post on the district's Facebook page, the crash occurred Sunday Morning at the Intersection of Highway 13, Business 13, and Purist Lane. A vehicle had gone down a 300 foot steep embankment and eventually stopped on its side.
The post goes on to say that the driver had to be extricated through the back window of the vehicle. Mercy Emergency Personnel had to ride to the crash site on an ATV to treat the driver them help transport the patient by helicopter to a Springfield Hospital for treatment.
