A Cold Front brought the Lakes Region some much needed relief in temperatures and also rainfall but did cause some issues.
Most of the damage due to storms was reported in Arkansas, where several Severe Thunderstorm Warnings were issued at times. The National Weather Service received a report from Emergency Management in Marion County of several trees down around the Peel area while several power companies reported to KTLO in Mountain Home that outages had occurred in parts of Marion as well as Boone and Newton Counties.
Some areas did receive heavy rainfall, including over two inches in the Mountain Home area.
Temperatures are expected to stay in the 80's for daytime highs and the 60's for overnight lows over the next several days.
