In a thread of posts on X on Sunday, Missouri Governor Mike Kehoe thanked U.S. Department of Homeland Security Secretary Kristi Noem for holding a briefing with state governors regarding the recent attacks on Iran.
Kehoe said the Iran conflict has led to a “heightened threat environment in the United States.”
Missouri’s Governor specifically mentioned the threat of cyber attacks and retaliatory violence by extremists.
He encouraged Missourians to report any suspicious activity they see.
