A hearing is set for Thursday in Greene County for a member of an area volunteer fire department facing charges of dealing with child pornography.
According to a federal criminal complaint reported by the Branson Tri-Lakes News, Cameron Allen Ryan is accused of knowingly receiving and distributing materials which involved the use of a minor engaging in explicit conduct.
Ryan, who has been a member of the Western Taney County Fire Protection District for several years, was investigated by an FBI Task Force after a tip from a citizen reported the activity and tied it to an email address eventually traced to Ryan.
According to a post on the Fire District's Facebook Page, Ryan has been suspended while the process of the investigation continues.
