Several waves of Heavy Rain are expected in the Lakes Region over the next couple of days.
The rain is expected to begin Thursday afternoon and continue through Friday. Amounts of two to three inches with localized higher amounts are possible. In addition, the potential for some severe thunderstorms exists on Thursday.
A by-product of this system approaching is much warmer air as temperatures are expected to soar into the 70’s this afternoon. Temperatures will be cooler but more seasonal once the system clears the area late Friday.
