Emergency personnel team-up on Tuesday to rescue an injured hiker.
According to a post from the Branson Mo Fire-Rescue Facebook Page, Branson Firefighters along with Taney County Ambulance personnel responded to Lakeside Forest Wilderness area on a report of an injured hiker. The post says the hiker was located and treated on site before being carried to Lake Taneycomo where the fire department’s rescue boat transported him to the Cooper Creek boat dock where treatment continued for the hiker.
The post states this highlights the continued strong partnership between Branson Fire-Rescue and the Taney County Ambulance District in helping area visitors and residents when accidents occur while enjoying the Lakes Region.
