The president of Cox Medical Center Branson says the hospital is preparing for visitors plus new residents to the Lakes Region.
William Mahoney, during an interview on KRZK's "Ozarks Now" program says that the Urgent Care and Emergency Room are prepared for seeing both locals and visitors while the Mahoney says an increase in people moving to the area has Cox preparing to offer them services. Mahoney says that telemedicine continues to be something that people utilize but that some issues with broadband in parts of the Lakes Region does remain a challenge.
Mahoney also says that Cox along with other businesses continue to address the challenges of keeping a strong work force in the wake of a changing job market.
