A man who already has a criminal history in the Lakes Region now is facing charges in a stabbing incident at a Branson Bar.
Rauly Cancel-Ramos is facing one count of First Degree Assault and Armed Criminal Action in connection with allegations he stabbed a man at Crazy Craig’s Cheeky Monkey Bar in Branson on Saturday June 1st.
According to court documents published by the Branson Tri-Lakes News, a Taney County deputy was dispatched to the bar’s location for an assault involving a stabbing. When the officer arrived, they found a victim with an approximately six inch long cut in their left leg, deep enough to expose the bone. Cancel-Ramos and the victim had a run-in inside the bar and was escorted out of the business. Later when both people were outside, Cancel-Ramos stabbed the victim in the leg. Cancel-Ramos was tracked down by officers, escaped custody once, but was then recaptured with the help of a Branson Police K-9 Officer.
Cancel-Ramos also has a felony drug trafficking change against him from an incident in February. He is currently being held in the Taney County Jail without bail.
A complete recap of this and the February incident can be found on the Branson Tri-Lakes News Website.
