
A man wanted on Felony Charges in California is apprehended in the Lakes Region.
According to a release from the Branson Police Department, officers responded to a call on Wednesday on Oak Ridge Road as a man refused to leave a property armed with a crossbow. The man was eventually arrested by Branson PD for Resisting Arrest and Providing False Information.
A combination of information provided by a Branson citizen and information provided from authorities in California, that man was identified as Jonathan Scott Riester.
According to the Fresno County Sheriff's Office and the organization Valley Crime Stoppers, Riester is wanted on False Imprisonment and Domestic Violence charges.
Riester is currently in the Taney County Jail in Forsyth awaiting the filing of local charges plus eventual extradition back to California.
