An Ozark County Man who has had run-ins with the law on both sides of the Missouri-Arkansas Boarder is now in trouble with Boone County Authorities.
Robert Frank Jarvis, 78, of Theodosia is facing charges of theft of a vehicle and writing more bad checks.
The theft of vehicle charges stems from renting a truck from a business in Omaha then using that vehicle to sell items he had purchased with bad checks and also living in it. Some of the items purchased with bad checks were sold to local pawn shops which is another violation of law. Jarvis failed to return the vehicle when it was due back at the Omaha business.
Jarvis was eventually caught in Missouri after he was arrested by Branson Police for tampering with a vehicle plus off of a previous warrant out of Arkansas for bad checks in Baxter County.
Jarvis is alleged to have two accomplices, both living in Taney County, that have been a part of some of his crimes.
According to a recap posted by KTLO, Jarvis has bad check charges not only in Baxter and Boone Counties in Arkansas, but also in Christian, Douglas, Howell, Ozark, Stone, and Webster Counties in Missouri.
Jarvis is currently being held in the Boone County Detention Center.
