A fire protection district in Missouri makes a donation to a district in Arkansas.
According to a post on the Western Tane County Fire Protection District Facebook page, the district’s February Board Meeting included approval of the donation of two sets of surplus vehicle extrication equipment to the Pindall Gilbert and St. Joe Volunteer Fire Department in Searcy County.
According to the Western Taney post, the equipment became available when it was replaced during the department’s capital replacement cycle. The post goes on to say that that equipment is not frontline for Western Taney, it is still operational and will help the PG&S Department with their rescue operations.
PG&S Fire Chief Tracey Whitaker was on hand to accept the donation from Western Taney County personnel.
