Missouri Municipal Candidate Filing Period Ends Next Week

The filing period for the 2025 Missouri Municipal Election is next week. 

The period opened on December 10th and will remain open until next Tuesday at 5:00 pm. The following positions will be up for election in several communities across the region:

City Positions including Mayor, Alderman, and Village Trustees
Board of Education Positions in all School Districts
Other Political Subdivisions including Fire Districts, Water Districts

Candidates who are certified after the sign-up period closes will be on the ballot during the Municipal Election which takes place on April 8.
