The April Municipal Election in Missouri is today.
In the Lakes Region, the Mayor’s Race in Reeds Spring is contested along with several Alderman Races including in Branson, Forsyth, Hollister, Hurley, and Merriam Woods. School Board Races are also contested in the Bradleyville, Branson, Crane, Forsyth, Galena, Hollister, and Mark Twain School Districts.
Stone County Voters will decide on Prop P, a Sales Tax to help benefit Law Enforcement efforts while the Cities of Galena and Taneyville will consider Ballot Issues dealing with Roads. Coney Island, Hurley, and Reeds Spring along with Ozark County will have Use Tax Issues dealing with internet on the ballot while the Crane, Reeds Spring, and Spokane School Districts are among those with ballot questions.
The polls will be open until 7:00 tonight. Election coverage will begin at 8:00 on Legends 1063 plus on the Ozarks Now Facebook Page.
